Dawa Tsering – TCB Campaign Manager
Dawa Tsering is the current Campaign Manager for Tibetan Community Britain. Dawa is a passionate activist worked extensively for promotion of Tibetan issue including volunteering Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan-Jewish Youth Exchange and initiated Longsho Youth Camps before coming to the UK. In UK Dawa has hosted and organised numerous talks including Ama Adhe, Singing nuns of Drapchi, late Palden Gyatso and many more.

Kate Saunders is a writer, journalist and Tibet specialist who was until recently working for the International Campaign for Tibet as Research Director. She is the author of ’18 Layers of Hell: Stories from the Chinese Gulag’ and numerous reports for publications including the Washington Post, Guardian and The Times.
Speaker:- Martin Bursik – Czech Republic
Martin Bursík has twice served as Minister of the Environment and is also former chairman of the Green Party in the Czech Republic. During the Velvet Revolution in November 1989, he was one of the founders of the Civic Forum. Now with his wife Katerina, a former Parliamentarian active in the Tibet group in Czech Parliament, Martin has been active in work on Tibet since travelling to Tibet in the 1980s.
Speaker:- Gabriel Lafitte – Australia
Gabriel Lafitte is a writer focussed on Tibetan modernity, China’s plans for Tibet, rapid urbanisation, industrialisation of traditional Tibetan economy, biodiversity and nature across Tibet, rivers and hydro dams, and also the genetic uniqueness of the Tibetans. Gabriel has worked with Tibetans for 40 years, including regular training for Tibet monitors based in India. He is a disfigured cancer survivor now in good health, and in viral isolation in a large Australian garden.
Speaker :- Katia Buffetrille – France
Katia Buffetrille is an Anthropologist and Tibetologist working at École pratique des Hautes-Études (Paris). She is going to Tibet every year for 2 or 3 months since 1985. Her work focuses on Tibetan rituals and their changes within the People’s Republic of China as well as cultural policies. She has published numerous articles and book. her last publication is : L’âge d’or du Tibet: XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles, Belles Lettres, 2019.
